Privacy Policy

MakeRapVideo is an independent service operated by an individual operator. You can reach us at support@makerapvideo.com for any privacy question, access request, or deletion request.

What we process

With an account we process your email address and a password hash (never the plain password). When you submit a Rap task we process the two photos you upload, any topic text you enter, and task records (status, timestamps, and ledger entries such as trials or credits). Sessions use an essential cookie. Optional analytics run only after your consent choice in the cookie dialog and can be changed at any time from the footer.

Photos and videos

Photos are uploaded only after you sign in and confirm you have the rights to use them. Uploaded photos are private to your account. A photo becomes unavailable — it cannot be viewed, used, or attached to a new task — no later than 24 hours after upload, except while an active task still needs it. A cleanup job that runs at least hourly then removes the stored file, so physical deletion follows within about an hour of expiry. Generated videos are private to your account and follow the same pattern with a 7-day window. In the current demo mode your photos are not sent to any third-party generation provider; when real generation is enabled, selected photos are sent only to the generation provider required to produce your video, through short-lived signed references.

Where data lives

Account data, photos, and videos are stored on our cloud server (Tencent Cloud). Operational backups may retain already-expired data for a limited period under our control; backups are not shared with anyone else.

Your choices

You can request a copy or deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support@makerapvideo.com. Deleting your account removes access to your tasks; stored photos and videos are removed by the same automatic retention described above. The service is not directed to children under 13.
